Remote Connection Steps (for previous remote support customers)

Step 1: Look for the following icon on your deskstop: Citrix icon

Step 2: Double-click on the icon and enter your name.

Step 3: Enter the support key number (###-###-###) that I provide to you.

Step 4: Click OK.

Remote Connection Steps (for new customers)

Step 1: Click on the following link: www.fastsupport.com. A new tab or window titled 'GoToAssist' will open so that you can still see the below instructions.

Step 2: Type in your name in the Your Name field on the fastsupport.com webpage.

Step 3: Call Jason at 509-659-1166. He will give you a 9-digit support key (###-###-###) that you type into the Support Key field. Click on the Continue button.

Step 4: In your web browser, a program called GoToAssist Launcer.exe will download and asked to be run. Run the program. (Note: Where this file appears will be different in each browser. In Internet Expolorer, a box at the bottom and centered will open. In Google Chrome, a box in the lower left will appear. In Firefox, the box will open in the upper right area.)

Step 5: A dialogue box will appear, asking for permission for the program to make changes. Click Yes. You will then see a box with a green bar that says "Connecting to GoToAssist".

Step 6: Last step. You will have one more dialogue box appear that asks for your permission to allow Jason remote access. Click Yes

Remote Connection Steps for Android Devices

Step 1: Determine what version of Android you are running and install the GoToAssist app.

To determine which version of Android you are running, use the following three steps:

  • Open your device Settings
  • Scroll to About Phone
  • Look for line which says "Android Version"

Android OS 4.2.x (Jellybean MR 1) or later: Search in Google Play store "GoToAssist (Customer)".

Android OS 4.0.x (Ice Cream Sandwich) or 4.1.x (Jellybean): Search in Google Play store "GoToAssist (Customer) OS < 4.2".

Step 2: Open the app after install and enter your name.

Step 3: Enter the support key number (###-###-###) that I provide to you.

Step 4: Tap Join Session.

Step 5: You will be prompted to allow me to join the session. Tap Join Session again.
